ILA is a volunteer-led UK charity supporting victims of human rights abuses and diaspora families as they rebuild their lives. Your legacy will provide vital digital literacy, emotional support, youth engagement, and cultural integration programmes — all designed to help survivors heal, reconnect, and participate fully in British society.

 

It will also strengthen our international human rights campaigns — from defending political prisoners to exposing abuses, stopping executions, and giving voice to the oppressed in Iran and across the Middle East. Your legacy won’t just support lives — it will help defend life itself

“I am greatly concerned about current violations of human rights, which I have been following for some years.

 

Some punishments meted out are simply barbaric, including the amputation of hands and feet and gouging out of eyes.

 

Some executions appear to be designed to suppress minority ethnic and religious groups.

 

I believe that the international community has a duty to put pressure on their home country to cease the practice of judicial murder.

I condemn these violations of human rights and give my support to ILA, the International Liberty Organisation. In recent years I have witnessed what the organisation’s courageous volunteers have done to achieve its goals, and have met many of them myself, finding them committed to their voluntary work.”
