International Liberty Association: Nazanin Zaghari was sent on leave with an electronic tag on her ankle. Nazanin Zaghari has been given two weeks leaving from prison. She is serving a 5-year sentence in Evin Prison after being convicted of espionage charges that she has always denied. It should be mentioned that the UK has also insisted she is innocent.

Nazanin Zaghari’s husband, Richard Ratcliffe said she had to have an electronic tag all the time for two weeks and could not be more than 300 meters away from her parents’ home.

In this regard, Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab said in a statement on Tuesday: “I am relieved that Mrs Zaghari-Ratcliffe was today temporarily released into the care of her family in Iran,”.

“We urge the regime to ensure she receives any necessary medical care,” he added.
