International Liberty Association: Following widespread and exposing campaigns against human rights abuses in Iran and for the release of prisoners of conscience, and following large and explicit online conferences from July 10 to 12, prisoners of conscience Majid Asadi and Mohammad Banazadeh, who had been tortured for years in prison, were released from prison. These two prisoners of conscience were arrested without any crime just for defending freedom and human rights in Iran, which is the highest crime in Iran according to the religious dictatorship regime, and :ILA: were imprisoned and tortured for years. Majid Asadi, a graduate in economics and a student activist, was arrested and sent to prison and torture chambers only for writing a letter with the title “No to Imprisonment and execution” because there is no civil liberties and human rights under the clerical dictatorship. Dr. Mohammad Banazadeh Amirkhizi is a chest specialist and human rights activist. The two human rights activists were imprisoned for four years and six months. Both were in very poor physical condition and needed treatment for various illnesses, but the inhumane regime not only refused to address their medical needs but also repeatedly told them in prison that they would never see the sun, but with your help, our dear friends and allies, we were able to force the religious dictatorship to release these two human rights activists from prison by continuing exposing campaigns and international pressure. The release of these two prisoners of conscience is another triumphant step towards the realization of civil liberties as well as the prevention of human rights violations in Iran.
