Bahareh Soleimani, is still hold in Evin Prison

International Liberty Association: According to the reports, Bahara Soleymani, a Nurse, is still in detention at the Evin prison, ward 209, solitary confinement ward in Evin Prison. The Ward 209 at Evin prison is a ward belongs to the Intelligence Ministry. Bahara Soleymani has been kept in this ward for more than one and a half month. She was arrested on 16 October 2020.
Bahareh Soleymani, 43, is a nurse who worked for the national health service. She has suffered lung damage during the past 10 months when she cared for COVID-19 patients. But ever since her arrest, she has been deprived of the medical care she needs. The only contact that she has had is only three one-minute calls to her family since her detention, on 16 October this year.
On 16 October 2020, agents who introduced themselves as Security Police broke into her family’s residence and searched the house for 2 hours. Then, they arrested Bahareh Soleymani and took her away. They told the family to refer to the courthouse of Evin on 18 October.
On October 18, the Soleymani family enquired about their daughter’s whereabouts. The authorities told them that their daughter is in solitary confinement and until her status is determined, they are not going to have any contacts or visits with her.
ILA: The reason of her arrest is still unknown, and her family just been informed that she is held in the Ward 209 of Evin Prison.
