Saeed Masouri, a prisoner of conscious in Rajaii Sharhr Prison in city of Karaj, is yet to have furlough, 15 years after his imprisonment.
He has gone on hunger strikes several times to protest against the inhumane conditions and the vicious behaviour of the prison officials. He has a history of physical injury and deprivation of medical care in prison as well.
Saeed imprisoned since January 2001 along with Gholam Hossein Kalbi was charged with being the supporter of MEK in the city of Dezful. He has spent these 15 years in Intelligence Detention in city of Ahwaz and also in notorious prisons of Evin and Rajai Shahr prisons.
In 2002 he was sentenced to death in Tehran Revolutionary Court, but the sentence was commuted to life imprisonment.
Saeed Masouri had spent 14 months in solitary confinement since his arrest in Ahvaz Intelligence Department, and then was transferred to Ward 209 of Evin Prison.
