More protesters die as the Guards open fire at the crowdsPublished by International Liberty Association on January 1, 2018
At least 12 people have been reported killed during the unrests in the past few days. The regime Guards opened fire at protesters in Dorood, Izeh, Toyserkan, and some other cities across the country.
ILA calls on international community and the UN to take action and call on the Iranian authorities to stop killing people in the streets. Instead the authorities should heed to the rightful demands of the protestors who are deprived of basic living conditions and suffer from poverty in a country rich with natural resources, most of which is being used to export their fundamentalist brand of religion to other countries, or plundered by the authorities. The people of Iran deserve much better.
