Prisoner of conscience Mohammad-Ali Taheri passed out on November 21 on his 55th day of hunger strike and was taken to the Evin Prison medical clinic in a state of emergency. He had started a dry hunger strike (refusing to drink fluids) on November 17 after 50 days of hunger strike.
This prisoner of conscience has still been banned from seeing his family and has been told that he will only be allowed to see them if he stops hunger striking.
