Iranian regime started new round of executions after the election show. Ten inmates were hanged on May 22 and 23 in the prisons of Tabriz, Zahedan, Ardebil, Kermanshah, Isfahan, and Karaj Central Prison.
In an atrocious act in Zahedan, while the 30-year-old Abdulkarim Shahnavazi was being executed prison authorities placed a noose around the neck of another prisoner. After witnessing Shahnavazi’s death, this prisoner was brought down from the gallows and told that his execution will be carried later.
