Court Hearing held for six women activists in TehranPublished by International Liberty on February 17, 2016
A court hearing for 18 civil & human rights’ activists including 6 women was held at the branch 1060 of Tehran’s Criminal Court on Tuesday, February 9. The names of the six female campaigners have been announced as: Seemeen Ayuzi, Khadije (Leila) Ghafari, Azam Najafi, Parvin Suleimani, Shermin Yamani and Sara Saedi.
These individuals are currently awaiting the court to issue their sentences.
These civil activists were arrested on Saturday, November 21 in a peaceful gathering held outside Tehran’s notorious Evin Prison .
