Eleven prisoners are at imminent risk of execution in Iran.
On Sunday the 11 death-row prisoners were transferred from their cells to solitary confinement in Gohardasht (Rajaishahr) Prison, north-west of Tehran, in preparation for their execution.
There is a risk that the prisoners will be hanged as early as Tuesday, December 15.
The names of four of the prisoners are Mehdi Keshavarz, Mohammad-Hossein Sabouri, Mehdi Salahshour, and Sadeq Heydari.
